[March 2007 - Current] Package and product designer for FlatWire Technologies, a division of Southwire.
[June 2002 - March 2007] Responsible for ideation and 3d presentations of packaging and display concepts for Design Services at the Rock-Tenn Company. Other efforts include graphic and multimedia design to support concepts and the department. Customers include: Kraft, Nestle, Kimberly Clark, Procter & Gamble, Home Depot, SCJohnson, and the multitude of brands they support. Supervised a summer design intern who assisted with daily projects as well as innovation shows.
[April 2003 - January 2005] Equine-byDesign freelance projects. Designed and created 10 plus web sites with a focus on clean, accessible design.
[August 2000 - Current] Teaching sophomores within the Industrial Design program of Georgia Tech. Providing focused instruction in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, while discussing the fundamentals of layout, illustration and rendering. Establishing 3d modeling skills with realistic projects in form-Z. Assignments evolve each year, allowing students to express creativity and develop interest in the possibilities of the software. This spring, I also taught a five week Portfolio Design for juniors and seniors.
[February 2000-December 2002] Research Assistant at the CATEA. Completed new corporate identity materials
including: logo, letterhead, labels, and brochures. Designed and supported the graphic production of an accessible CATEA web site.
[January 2000- January 2001] Research Assistant and Web Author at CEISMC, a subsidiary of Georgia Tech.
[Spring 1999 - Spring 2000] Intern at the international Exhibit Design firm, nth Degree.
